Learning Profile: Massimo Lowicki-Zucca, World Education
As Chief of Party of USAID’s Better Outcomes project in Uganda, Massimo Lowicki-Zucca is conscious of having what he calls ‘the great privilege to make a difference in the lives of a huge number of people.” He also recognizes that with that privilege comes great responsibilities in terms of using project resources efficiently and in compliance with donor regulations. Here he shares how our flagship USAID Rules & Regulations workshop has helped his team navigate these responsibilities.

Boosting Project Management Skills at Plan International in the Americas
Earlier this year, Plan International’s Regional Office of the Americas (ROA) launched an initiative to boost their project management capabilities through the implementation of the PMD Pro 1 Certification Program. Involving staff from 13 different countries in Latin America working together to develop a common approach to project management is a major undertaking. Humentum’s Regional Director for Latin America, Juan Manuel Palacios checks in with two of those behind the initiative to see how things are moving forward, six months after the launch.
